Housing benefit

All students living with us can apply for and receive Housing Benefit. Housing allowance is a grant that you can receive to help pay your rent if you rent a home with your own kitchen or kitchenette. You can apply for housing benefit even if you only live in Denmark for a short period of time.

The majority of the residents at UMEUS Nordhavn live in 14 communal kitchens. The kitchens are designed to promote community, whether you want to cook together, invite friends over for dinner, have a movie night or play board games - it all happens here.

At UMEUS Nordhavn you also have the opportunity to stay in a Studio with its very own kitchen. Here you still participate in the UMEUS community, but have the possibility of more privacy.

Lounge area

Enjoy a nice meal or get your morning coffee with residents – or invite friends over for a beer. The Café is run by the residents for the residents while also allowing the public to be invited in within opening ours.

Study hall

Having a designated and quiet spot is key when studying. At UMEUS you don’t have to leave your home to study. We have prepared a functional study hall - just an elevator ride away from your studio.

Group rooms

Few things can be achieved alone. Whether you are preparing for a group exam, planning the next UMEUS activity, or starting a student organization, the group room offers the necessary privacy and facilities.
