Our students live in 21 shared kitchens, with each kitchen having its own balcony. The communal kitchens are designed with a focus on co-living, which is a key element of the UMEUS concept to strengthen our community.

UMEUS Valby is located less than 300 meters from Copenhagen South, one of Denmark's largest stations where the Metro, S-trains, regional and long-distance trains meet, ensuring an efficient connection to all parts of Copenhagen and all of Denmark.

Located at Grønttorvet in Valby - this is where the action is! We are close to metro and S-train stations - less than 4 km to CBS and less than 3 km to Aalborg University and University College Copenhagen.

Roskilde University (RUC) is just a 20-minute train ride away.

UMEUS Valby is close to several green areas, such as Valbyparken, Copenhagen's largest park, just one kilometer away. Valby Strand opened there in 2021, and Sydhavnstippen, where sheep and alpacas roam free, is also nearby. Vestre Cemetery, Denmark's largest cemetery with large green areas, is just two kilometers away. Furthermore, the city center is only 15 minutes away by public transport and Frederiksberg is only 8 minutes from UMEUS Valby, providing a perfect mix of vibrant city life and peaceful green spaces.
